nice hotel I was in Helka Hotel Helsinki for two nights and completely agree with the comments above. Helka Hotel is a lovely hotel with standart facilities, enough to feel comfortable. The hotel has clean rooms, basicly equipped. The hotel staff is really friendly and willingly to help you. The hotel serves an adequate breakfast. So there is nothing to complain about this hotel. 4.0

"a good selection of cooked and cold meats" Helka Hotel's staff were helpful and friendly. The bar prices were reasonable and comparable with most of the other bars I visited. There was a good selection of cooked and cold meats, cereals, fruit and salad at breakfast. The room was very comfortable. "Fantastic!!!" This has to be one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The basic requirements were there – clean, spacious rooms close to the centre of town. But it was the additional extras that made our stay so good. The staff were always helpful and friendly – no matter what time of the day or night it was. Whether we were asking for the closest place to grab a bite to eat (at midnight!), a good Finnish restaurant for dinner (about 10pm!) or the times that the ferries to Tallinn departed, the staff were always helpful – even phoning up the ferry terminal to get the departure times right. And then there was the breakfast – a pretty good buffet breakfast with something to suit everyone. All in all, a fantastic place to stay and I’d definitely recommend it.
