"Love this Hotel" After two visits to Hotel Kamp over the last couple of years, Hotel Kamp continues to be one of my favorite properties. The service is always top notch - very friendly and accomodating. The Hotel is very well situated; directly off a small but beautiful park with easy access to many of Helsinki's sites. The decor is elegantly traditional, though at times it can dip into being slightly overdone. The proportions of the spaces are intimate yet have a wonderful grand feeling. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The bathrooms are quite lovely with stone tile throughout and shower stall basins fashioned from one marble slab! The toiletries are quite nice and very attractively presented. The restaurants are top notch with the brasserie serving a delightful breakfast buffet. One of my favorite features of the Hotel is the spa. The waiting area has built in form fitting lounge seats of circular ceramic tile and access to natural light. Even on the gloomiest days the spa is warm and comforting. It of course boasts various options of sauna - dry, steam, etc. The spa showers have obscured windows which afford natural light - adding to the overall affect. In my opinion, Hotel Kamp is well worth the splurge!

"An example to be followed" Above expectations. Rooms perfect. Service impecable. A "Guest Service Center" that is able to immediately respond to any demand you may have. Just push a button in your phone.

"Bliss" How nice is it to stay at a hotel where every part of your stay was made in hotel heaven. The staff were just the best I have ever encounted. The rooms quite and smell free, non-smoking means non-smoking, finally no cigar smells. Breakfast was fresh and hot and all you can eat which is what you need when you travel for long periods. A a side note the people of Helsinki are so friendly and ready to talk, help and even have a drink :) with a traveller. I cannot offer a greater recommendation, please enjoy.

"Just Perfect !" I stayed one night at the Hotel Kämp with a friend of mine and the only thing I regret about my stay is that we had to leave Helsinki just after one night in this wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect, from the check-in to the check-out : the room was great, elegant decoration with a beautiful marble bathroom, service was impeccable (they send my letters for free because I had no time to get stamps), the Balance Club (sauna, fitness) really enjoyable after a long day, and of course the location of the Hotel on the Esplanade can’t be more central, it’s just perfect for people who want to discover Helsinki. If I’ll return to Finland in the future, I’ll choose Hotel Kamp again with no doubt.
