"One of the best in Helsinki"
I've been to Helsinki on several occations and it is truly a city were you find loads of good design bars and restaurants. I was for this reason a bit surprised that they call themselves a design hotel.
But in many ways they can claim they are.
The breakfast at the hotel is served in an open stylish area were you have a huge selection on offer. If you want the kitchen beware that it might take some time to get your omelette. But the quality is high and they also served several organic grown produces. Big plus.
They also have a really cool bar were a rather hip young crowd is found so make special attention to your outfit before departing your room. Great for a few cocktails before entering the nightlife.
The rooms looked good but were not big. But had nice features like a selection of magazines (Wallpaper for instance) and I saw some complaints about difficulty of watching TV but that was not a problem in my room.
New high quality furniture and nice bath. Wouldn't stay for a week, but for a cityweekend it is great and location is excellent.
A hotel for the young at heart.

"minus twenty super cool"
This hotel wonderfully captures the design rennaissance in Helsinki. Centraly located and painfully hip this spot is worth checking out. Stayed 2 nights in Helsinki, one in Kamp and the other here - Kamp is a generic luxury hotel, in which its easy to forget one's in Finland - and regretted not spending both here. Each guest receives a complementary copy of Wallpaper magazine, and the hotel decor mirrors the photo shoots in the mag.
Rooms are on the small side, but cleverly designed.
The main restaurant is well worth feasting in, with its playful haute menu subverting common perceptions of savoury and sweet - the crayfish ice cream will challenge and tickle any gourmond.
Super cool.
