Park Kapyla Hotel is typical of the large number of properties built in the post-war period in Helsinki and is indeed protected as are most buildings in the area.This friendly hotel comes highly recommended for guests for whom an absolute city centre location isn't top priority.The lobby is small and modern, but there is plenty of seating in the adjacent restaurant.

LOCATION

Park Kapyla Hotel is located in a suburb called Puu-K�pyl�. The hotel building is surrounded by a historical area with old Finnish wooden town houses with beautiful gardens around them. In fact, Puu-K�pyl� is the only garden suburb of Helsinki.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* The Scandinavian buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday to Saturday and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday.

* The hotel restaurant is located off the lobby. It is surprisingly large with a dark blue colourscheme and modern furniture.

* The sauna department is famous for hosting many happy private gatherings and business parties. The hotel features three saunas and a swimming pool, offering a world of many possibilities for entertaining friends and colleagues, or a place for a weary traveller to unwind.

* The hotel offers meeting facilities for up to 120 persons.

ROOM AMENITIES

* The rooms are medium sized and in very good condition with modern furnishings and neutral colourschemes.

* Most have attractive wood laminate floors. The modern bathrooms are also in very good condition. They are cosy with facilities such as direct dial telephone, minibar, private bathroom, satellite TV, pay TV, hairdryer, high-speed internet access, disabled facilities, radio and some rooms are non-smoking.
