: "Love the Sokos Helsinki :)" This hotel has to be the best one I've stayed in when visiting Finland, so much so that I always request it when I can. I've stayed at several of the higher rated ones and personally I don't think any of them are nearly as good as the Sokos Helsinki. The rooms are lovely and well furnished, the bar/restaurant downstairs has a nice atmosphere and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning is delicious with a wide range of foods for all tastes. There is a nightclub across the street but due to the Finns having a good mind for planning, it is accessible by elevator only meaning there is no noise eminating across to the hotel from the entrance, and another below the hotel which I never heard a noise from. This is an ideal location for young couples that want to be right in the centre of the town with the nightlife just a few steps away. It is also only a few yeards from the bus/train station. I really would recommend trying this hotel before booking one of the more expensive ones!
